- For NAP, the book page is the "authoritative, archival version" --
intrinsic to our Openbook approach
- Proofreading care is greater for book than in electronic versions
(page image)
- 300 years is possible with print; not yet provable for electronic
versions (even XML)
- Most special access systems designed with a 5 year life span
- NAP XML in TEI Lite, which can generate rich book-length PDF
and other formats
